The projects undertaken during this year was.

  1. Training of Hospital staff on Bio-medical waste management. Beneficiary 200. staff of R.T.C. Hospital Hyd. Amount Rs.20,000. duration 1wk.
  2. Training of Hospital Staff on Bio-medical waste management for staff of B.H.E.L hospital Ramachandrapuram no. 300. Duration 1wk Amount Rs.30,000.
  3. Training of Hospital Staff of NTPC Hospital Ramagundam. (200) Duration 4 days Amount Rs.25,000.
  4. Study of prevalence of Anemia in women of Reproductive age group in slums of Secunderabad. Duration 3 months. Beneficiary 300- amount
    Rs. 10,000.
  5. Participation in IPP VIII project of MCH in collaboration with ESSMEDS(NGO).
  6. Survey of functioning of Anganwadi centers and mothers committee and integration of ICDS & PHC services in few mandals of Nalgonda Dist.
  7. Evaluation of impact of Training on Nurses Working in Hospitals of A.P.V.V.P. Beneficiary 100 Nurses cost 1.50 lakhs.
  8. Development of Health Diary for Community Health Workers of PHC’s under APERP(World Bank Project) Duration 15 days cost 15,000.

  2. Evaluation of Impact of Training on Medical Officers working in APV.V.P. (World Bank)in Association with Dept. of Hospital Administration N.I.MS Hyd. Cost.6.5 lakhs.
  3. Training of Hospital Staff on Biomedical Waste Management of A.P.V.V.P Hospitals. Beneficiaries 200. Duration 1 wk. Cost 40,000/-
  4. Preparation of Hospital Standard for 60 beds hospitals to be established in Bihar by Catholic Health Association India. Duration 1 month cost Rs.15,000/-
  5. Preparation of Strategic Planning for implementation of Bio-medical waste Management training programme to staff of PHC Staff in A.P. Duration 2 months cost Rs. 95,000/-
  6. Conducting of Training Programme on Bio-medical waste management to Staffs of 250 private hospitals in twin cities. Beneficiaries 20,000/- Cost 2.5 lakhs.
  7. Training of Staff in Bio-medical waste Management(1500) of 5 District Hospitals in Maharasthra Cost 11 lakhs.

  1. Training of hospital Staff in Bio-Medical Waste Management of 354 Grameen rugmanalay (12000 Staff) in Maharasthra under M.H.S.D.P. Cost (20 lakhs).
  2. Medical & Death Audit with special reference to maternal mortality of 5000 death case sheetss in Maharashtra under M.H.S.D.P Cost 7.8 lakhs.
  3. Study of Prevalence of smoking habit among students, Govt employees and corporate executives. Duration 2 months. Cost 50,000.

Annual Statement for 2004 Jan-Dec

  1. Training of Nursing School faculties in teaching methodologies.(150) MHSDP World Bank Project, maharashtra.(8,75 lakhs).
  2. Evaluation of the health programes implemented at PHC level ,preparation of health facilities diary and assessment of nursing school facilities in nalgonda districtl for European commission under sector investment plan.(6 months-3 lakhs).
  3. Assessment of effect of residual pesticides on the mental abilities of pre school children.(Duration 2months-2lakhs).
  4. Training of 18000 staff of 950 PHC’s on Biomedical Waste Management under APERP world bank project in association with E.P.T.R.I.
